Kube9 Product Line

Focused products for Kubernetes teams.

Kube9 is Alto9's product line for developers and platform teams working with Kubernetes. It is separate from our consulting services and includes IDE extensions, in-cluster intelligence, and a dedicated desktop experience.

How the pieces fit

Basic mode works without the operator. Operated mode adds scheduled Well-Architected validation and richer views in connected tools. The open-source operator keeps assessment data in-cluster and does not register with Alto9 cloud services by default.

Three products, one ecosystem

Local-first, privacy-conscious

Routine cluster work stays in your environment.

Your kubeconfig stays local

The VS Code extension reads your kubeconfig on your machine. Cluster credentials and API payloads are not uploaded for routine management.

Operator data stays in-cluster

Assessments, events, and status run inside your Kubernetes cluster. The OSS Helm chart does not require Alto9 sign-in or cloud registration.

GitOps-aware by design

Argo CD integration in VS Code supports sync, refresh, drift details, and resource graphs for teams running GitOps workflows.

Desktop Pro is a separate tier

Kube9 Desktop Pro AI and portal-backed features are designed for paid tiers. They do not change the self-contained posture of the open-source operator.
